Message: This was our second stay at the Bayberry Inn and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit! Both Tait and Nikki were extremely helpful, responsive, and informative. We truly appreciated the opportunity to store our bikes inside overnight, the suggestions of bike routes, and parking our car in the lot early so we could enjoy the sights before check in time. The jacuzzi tub in the room is a special treat and the location is so convenient to several areas of Newport - in fact, we didn't need to use our car once we arrived! Finally, Tait's scrumptious breakfast was yet another reason to return to the Bayberry Inn again soon! Thank you so much for a terrific getaway! Kim and Paul.

Message: My husband and I just spent 2 nights in the Gilded suite and loved it. The inn is beautiful and our room felt very luxurious with a jacuzzi, fireplace, large comfy bed and large bathroom. We weren't expecting such amazing breakfasts though - I would have *still* left a 5 star review if it had been a continental breakfast but Tate blew us away both mornings with french press coffee, yogurt and fruit, eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc. And there were cookies in the evening when we came home from sigh-seeing! The location was perfect, just a short walk to all the shops and restaurants. We didn't use our car for 2 days, which was a luxury in itself. Tate also gave us some great tips on local restaurants and stuff to do around town. We would definitely stay again!

Message: This bed and breakfast has become a yearly tradition for my husband and I. Just got home from an amazing night. I cannot wait for next year! They thought of everything. The room was spotless. Had all the amenities you would ever need. The bed was so comfortable. The fresh made cookies were delicious. Breakfast was incredible. You feel so welcome the second you pull in the driveway. It’s located centrally to restaurants and downtown. Thank you again, Tate for making our stay special.

Message: Very Clean / Friendly / 5 Stars! One of the best recent hotel/inn experiences my wife and I had in a long time. The Bayberry was gorgeous and super clean! It had old world charm but with modern decor and luxury. The staff knew about the history of the place (owned by a Captain), and were proud of it - along with much of the old architecture and design. We signed up for breakfast and were delighted to find out it was a chef who was very accommodating [diet/allergies etc. ] and made amazing 5 star dishes. He also was very friendly and treated us like royalty. We will certainly be going back to this place - and I can only highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Newport, Rhode Island. ***10 minute or less walk to virtually anywhere in Newport.

Message: We had a fantastic overnight getaway at the Bayberry Inn! Tate made sure we were set for a late check in. We loved the 1837 room with a jacuzzi and a fireplace! Gourmet breakfast included was to die for! Lighting in the room was either super bright or too dim. No closet in the room for our stuff. We worked around both of these items, so still giving 5 stars. Excellent location! Quiet! Highly recommend. We'll be back!

Message: Stayed at the Bayberry Inn for our first trip to Newport, RI. This b&b was perfect for our three night stay. Leading up to our trip the owners were super responsive and helpful in planning our weekend. The rooms were clean and decorated beautifully. The included daily breakfast blew us away. Hats off to the chef! And location location location! The heart of town is within walking distance allowing us to walk to all dinners. Will definitely be coming back!

Message: This wonderful bed and breakfast was a lovely weekend away. I had the pleasure of spending my mini moon here and could not have asked for a better stay. The house and room are beautifully styled, impeccably, clean and gave us a comfy and home like feeling! Tate was an awesome chef! Great with recommend for restaurants and even picked us up after our cliff walk and gave us a lift back into town. I highly recommend this place, it felt like a home always from home. Centrally located and so easy to walk anywhere!
