  • We ordered room service breakfast and it was very well done!!
  • Also, to no fault of the staff, all the hallways smelled of burnt marijuana.
  • Free EV charging, super friendly people, and especially comfortable pillows.

Message: I stayed in this hotel for 5 weeks while on travel for work. What a great hotel! The friendly staff, the cleanliness, and the fantastic on site restaurant and bar really made the stay outstanding. The decor was a modern take on some retro vibes and it made for a very tasteful and comfortable environment.. Beyond my general expectations of a hotel, two things were important to me as a long term guest: access to food and on-site laundry. This place met the needs on both and it was done well in both cases. There was a nightly welcome reception for guests in the bar that included a complimentary wine/beer which always a thoughtful touch.. Although it didn’t benefit me during my stay, many guests will appreciate that the hotel offers on site electric vehicle charging stations.. Thanks to all the folks working there that made my stay an enjoyable one!

Message: The hotel has a lot of pluses: the lobby was inviting, the reception desk staff are pleasant, especially Summer, who checked us in. I will keep gushing about Summer at every chance I get, because she is really someone who should be a model of how reception staff should be: accommodating to the nth degree! The room was comfortable, thanks to the firm mattress, the soft sheets, the dreamy pillows and comforter, the shower was a bliss and loved their plush towels and the toiletries. The Nomi Park restaurant menu was to our liking, although the staff needs to be a little more attentive, but overall, we enjoyed our stay and visiting Newport off-season was the best thing!

Message: An unexpected pleasure. We booked this hotel last minute after our usual Newport Hotels were booked up. We had stayed previously over 6 years ago and the renovation and management change is palpable.. Beautiful lobby with lots of fun energy, a decent fitness center and though we did not enjoy the restaurant, their cold brew in the morning was top notch.. Was very impressed with Michael at the Front Desk. We had a small issue with our bathroom and he had engineering on it right away and was kind, prompt, and thorough with his service throughout our stay.. If you're looking for a great value in Newport, look no further.

Message: I stayed at the Wayfinder the night before my wedding and was so grateful for all of the support of the staff. They knew who I was when I came in (my mom had checked in earlier) and they made sure I had everything I needed. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous and so comfortable. The atmosphere was charming and relaxing. My wedding party LOVED it and they were excited to stay an additional night after the wedding. I have already said that I’d love to go back and spend more time there the next time we’re in the area!

Message: This hotel is newly renovated and very clean. The decor feels cozy and updated. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. At check in, we were asked if we needed any recommendations or ideas of things to do. We were also given a breakfast voucher for the next morning. Breakfast at their restaurant was delicious! This hotel allows pets, and it was nice to see four-legged guests throughout.

Message: We (2 couples) had a fantastic stay at the Wayfinder. I had called ahead because I was a little concerned by some of the other reviews here. Sarah (the manager) made sure that all of my questions were answered, and even called me back with the availability of an upgrade when they'd had a cancellation - thank you, Sarah! We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom suites, which was extremely comfortable and inviting. As others have said, the beds and linens are wonderful! I really appreciated the small touches that made our stay more sustainable -- refillable soap containers in the bathroom, real glassware for use in the room, cardless entry if you choose, and boxed (not bottled) water in the room on arrival. Location was great too -- 6-8 minutes to downtown Newport by car (approx $8 uber) and located adjacent to a park where it was nice to walk our dog. Other reviews here seem really put off by the fact that this is a renovated hotel from a preexisting building -- that's true, it is a renovation-- but I have to say they've done a really good job updating and modernizing the building! I really appreciated how they have turned something old into something new and lovely. Would stay here again and recommend to family and friends!

Message: My sister and i just had a wonderful 3 night stay. The staff was beyond helpful, friendly and making sure our stay was enjoyed. One day someone even asked us if were locals because we seemed to know the staff so well. We laughed…. and no we are NOT local and had never met the staff before. The restaurant food was very good. Much better tan we had thought it would be for a “hotel”. We were pleasantly surprised that every day form 5-6 pm there were free drinks (beer/wine) for the hotel guests. AND every morning for breakfast we each had $12 credit towards our meal. And it was breakfast from the menu…not a continental breakfast. The only downside…the halls did smell a bit musty, and there are no dressers or closets in the rooms. There is a rack to hang clothes on and we definitely made due. we did ask for more hangers which we got. I would highly recommend this place…. cool decor and just a few min. Drive to Thames Street (also Ubers were very easy to get).

Message: After reading the mixed reviews I was a little apprehensive but I’m so glad we stuck with our gut and went through with it! This is the most charming little Inn. The concierge was delightful at our check in, and the accommodations were very clean and aesthetic. The beds are extremely comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was very good. Not high-end by any means but definitely worth the reasonable price! Would absolutely recommend!
